Camp Osage and Camp Electric is the perfect place for kids ages 5-12 to have fun, make memories, and develop to their full potential.
Summer Day Camp at the Y is more than a fun way for kids to spend the summer: It’s a safe place to develop important social and emotional skills, build confidence, and form lasting friendships, all while staying active both mentally and physically.

From sports and arts and crafts to roller skating and outdoor adventures, a Y day camp experience offers kids the chance to learn new things and enjoy new adventures. Kids will also swim three times a week!

Camp Osage Rates, Registration and Details
Location: Osage Prairie YMCA, 500 W. Highland Ave., Nevada, Mo.
Registration Dates: March 1-August 10
Camp Dates: June 1-August 12, M–F, 7:30am–5:30pm
Ages: 5-12
MUST BRING: a swimsuit, a white towel, water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, and long socks for skating
Before new enrollment, parents/guardians will need to complete a 1:1 interview with Megan Lightwine, Aquatic/Childcare Coordinator. Megan will call parents/guardians to establish dates and times. All NEW paperwork must be completed before interviews will be established; this includes any additional items needed for licensing requirements.
Weekly Pricing:
Members/Y Club Members: $130 per week, per child
Community Members: $195 per week, per child
Summer School participants: $55/Member & $80/Community Member
Registration Fee: $50/child, sibling discount will apply
20% sibling discount applies to all rates.

Financial Assistance Available
The Osage Prairie YMCA is committed to turning no one away due to their inability to pay. Thanks to the generosity of our community, the Y is able to offer financial assistance to those who qualify.
To apply for financial assistance, complete and return the Financial Assistance Application along with your most recent 1040 and any other supporting documentation noted on the application. The application can be downloaded by clicking the button below, or you can pick up a copy from the Welcome Center. Once the application and documentation have been received, the application will be reviewed and (if eligible) assistance will be awarded according to your individual situation.
Financial Assistance is reviewed on a case-by-case basis and is valid for one year from the date approved. It is up to the individual to reapply each year. A reminder of any assistance soon to expire will be sent to the email address provided on the application.
