This $5/person/month membership add-on provides access to the fitness center, gymnasium, racquetball court, and bathrooms whenever the Y is regularly closed, including all weekends and holidays! Just sign up, purchase your $5 24/7 access key fob, agree to follow the 24/7 access policies, and swipe in at each visit to enjoy Y access anytime!

Financial Assistance

The Osage Prairie YMCA is committed to turning no one away due to their inability to pay. Thanks to the generosity of our community, the Y is able to offer financial assistance to those who qualify.

To apply for financial assistance, complete and return the Financial Assistance Application along with your most recent 1040 and any other supporting documentation noted on the application. The application can be downloaded by clicking the button below, or you can pick up a copy from the Welcome Center. Once the application and documentation have been received, the application will be reviewed and (if eligible) assistance will be awarded according to your individual situation.

Financial Assistance is reviewed on a case-by-case basis and is valid for one year from the date approved. It is up to the individual to reapply each year. A reminder of any assistance soon to expire will be sent to the email address provided on the application.

All First Responders (VCSO Deputies, NPD patrol, MSHP, EMS, and Fire Fighters) are able to get a FREE 2 week pass from May19-June1 and we will waive the joining fee if you join during the promo. Bring proof of employment into the Y and begin your trial today!

*For law enforcement: for the YMCA to have law enforcement presence after hours, your 24/7 access is free of charge.


United Healthcare Kids Membership

All United Healthcare Community Plan members up to 17 years old can join the YMCA and partake in programming. Bring your member ID card to the Y and get signed up today!

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! We are proud to offer free childcare services for children ages 6 weeks old to 8 years old. This service is free to any child that is on an active membership with the YMCA. There is a two-hour limit per day.

Mon-Sat mornings: 8:30am-10:30am

Mon-Thu afternoons: 4:30pm-7:00pm

Closed Sundays

We offer monthly electronic payments as well as cash/check payments for a fixed term:

  • Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT): Get the convenience of automatic withdrawal and the option of making payment on the 5th or 20th each month. There are no contracts, but a 30-day cancellation notice is required.
  • Fixed term membership: Pay up front in either 3-month, 6-month or 12-month increments. Fixed term memberships are non-refundable.

The Osage Prairie YMCA is proud to offer the following discounts:

  • Active Military and First Responders: 50%
  • Military Veterans and Reserves: 25%
  • Full-Time Students: 25%
  • Seniors age 65+: 15%
  • Couple or Single Parent Household: 10%

Additionally, local law enforcement officers who are Osage Prairie YMCA members will receive the 24/7 Access membership add-on at no additional charge. This offer extends to all members of the MSHP Troopers, City of Nevada Police Officers, and Vernon County Sheriff’s Office.

No – you can choose to pre-pay your membership for a fixed 3-month, 6-month or 12-month increment, or you can pay electronically on a monthly basis. Either way, no contract is required.

The YMCA has a strict honor code based on our values of honesty, respect, caring, and responsibility. 24/7 Access will be granted under a Zero Tolerance policy. Members violating 24/7 access and/or general YMCA Membership Policies WILL lose membership privileges and NO refunds will be granted.

  • Members enrolling in 24/7 Access to the Osage Prairie YMCA will have access to the fitness center, gymnasium, racquetball court, and bathrooms during non-business hours. There will be NO access to the locker room, pool, functional fitness studio, child watch, classroom, kitchen, or administrative areas.
  • Members enrolled in 24/7 Access must maintain an Osage Prairie YMCA membership in good standing to maintain 24/7 Access. Late payment or insufficient funds will result in a loss of membership and/or 24/7 Access privileges.
  • The Osage Prairie YMCA reserves the right to add to, delete from, change, or modify this policy, agreement, and member expectations at any point as deemed necessary to ensure the safety and experience of all patrons.

No one under 18 is allowed 24/7 access unaccompanied. A member between the ages of 12-17 years old may utilize the 24/7 access option if they are accompanied by a parent/guardian who is also enrolled in the 24/7 access option AND on the same family membership.
